See more than city lights with Hong Kong Yachting.
Hong Kong Yachting offers a variety of sailing tours and events. They’ve got yachts, event boats, junks and cruisers. See a different side of Hong Kong on a three-hour adventure sail along Hong Kong Island’s southern coast. Hong Kong Yachting has three boats that sail every weekend, allowing you to experience sailing a yacht without having to pay to charter the whole boat – although you can organise a private charter at any time.
On the trip, you can try your hand at steering the boat and help crew manage the sails. Or if you’re keen to just lie back and enjoy the view, then head up to the front of the boat and recline with a beer in hand.
Alternatively, if you’re after an evening affair, there’s the harbour wine tasting tour, which takes you to see the city’s famous skyline. It includes an informal wine tasting and canapés in Hong Kong’s iconic Victoria Harbour.
Those who are looking to really get out of town can take a sailing tour out to Po Toi Island, which is located southeast of Hong Kong Island. You’ll moor alongside fish farms before going ashore to enjoy a local seafood lunch at the island’s small beach restaurant.
For all you romantics out there, they also have one pretty special dining experience that will get you some serious kudos with your other half – providing he or she isn’t prone to seasickness, that is. Jump on board one of Hong Kong Yachting’s private catamarans for an evening of private wining and dining at sea. You’ll sail out to Deep Water Bay for a three-course dinner with sparkling wine. Choose from oysters, goose liver, duck confit, salmon fillet, sirloin steak and many other indulgent dishes to enjoy under the stars. Romantic? Oh yeah.
