Head chef Daniel Fox and executive chef Dustin Osuch have taken a contemporary approach to classic cuisine at Jupiters Hotel & Casino’s signature restaurant, entwine. Here, you get fine dining fare at an affordable price. And add to that expert advice on how to pair specific dishes with an amazing drop and you’ve got yourself a heavenly experience.

For an entree, you can expect to pay between $20 – $28. That is, unless you choose entwine’s ultimate starter – the ‘Chilled Seafood Platter for Two’, which will set you back $110, and is well worth it. The platter features raw and cooked varieties of fresh fish and shellfish, which are sourced locally and prepared in a simple yet elegant way. For something a little smaller, try the Queensland Spanner Crab Cakes with Tom Kha, Caramel and Crisp Thai Herbs – delicious!

Cabassi Rea

A visit to entwine is incomplete without tasting their signature dish, ‘the butter-knife steak’. It’s the only Australian restaurant to feature the Cabassi & Co 600-day grain fed purebred wagyu tenderloin – a steak so tender it can be cut with a butter knife. And to prove it, they do just that.

If you’re not already there, dessert will take you to cloud nine. This dish features nine delicious elements of chocolate, each in a different medium. From a smooth and silky caramel chocolate crémeux to an explosive surprise of gourmet chocolate-coated popping candy, it’s a chocolate connoisseur’s dream. With desserts around the $14 mark, it’s not hard to find room. Otherwise, all guests are offered a complimentary nitrogen chilled treat as they leave, helping to make their visit to entwine an extra-sweet memory.

The prices are reasonable and the food is fabulous. But what sets entwine apart is the experience. It’s evident that after five years as the executive chef at the MGM Grand in Vegas, Chef Dustin Osuch knows how to run a big operation, and puts time and effort into making sure his team is a cohesive ship.
