ABOUT

Seafood on ice

Welcome to The Great Aussie Bite, where you’ll find reviews of exciting foodie, spa, travel and luxury experiences from across Australia.

The goal of The Great Aussie Bite is to inspire people to do things out of the ordinary. To take their loved one on a romantic weekend away or go on a whisky tasting class with their mates. Just to inspire people to do things that make their life, or even just their weekend, a little more exciting.

Our professional writers and reviewers are located in NSW, VIC, QLD and WA and are dedicated to bringing you the most exciting food and lifestyle experiences from across the country.

The Great Aussie Bite also proudly brings you Mystery Dinners: the novel dining experience for foodies with a sense of adventure. Guests purchase tickets to a dinner party but are only told the theme of the dinner and the date that it will be held – the location and menu are kept a tight-lipped secret until the stroke of midnight the evening before, when the full details are revealed. For more information and details about upcoming events, check out the Mystery Dinners page and the Mystery Dinners Facebook page.
